Creating Your Roadmap to Professional Engagement

This special panel presentation/workshop is designed to help nurses and nursing students to explore and create their own "roadmap to professional engagement."  

Our panelists are professional nurses from a variety of practice areas and career stages. With their support, participants of this session will: 

  1. Identify avenues for professional development both pre- and post-graduation that align with their interests and goals;
  2. Value the importance of Nursing certification along with other professional development activities, involvement in professional organizations, volunteering, advocacy/policy, etc. 
  3. Create a professional “roadmap" during the session.

  4. Samantha Pickett, BSN, RN, FMCHC, HNB-BC. Health Coach, 3 Little Birds Health Coaching. 
  5. Kaylyn Kristler, RN, BSN, CV-BC. Cardiovascular Nurse, Parkview Heart Institute.
